The agenda with the easy street shoes is to combine style, function and responsibility.
We have built the shoes with a very soft and flexible sole, where the structure is provided by the built in arch flex system medium footbed. The footbed gives a dynamic support to the arches, while still letting the muscles of foot work like they are supposed to. This construction gives immediate comfort and has a positive long term health effect on the foot.
Since these products are not extreme wear or performance, we have been able to select recycled materials to reduce the resource use (see the specifications).
Perhaps most important is the natural feeling: the ambition is to recreate the sensation of walking barefoot on a wet sand beach, when walking down the street.
